Care for your vehicle
Your cooling system helps manage engine temperature in changing weather and traffic. We offer cooling system service for leaks and temperature concerns.
Coolant condition, hoses, circulation, airflow, and temperature controls all affect cooling. Repeatedly topping up coolant without finding the cause can allow the underlying problem to continue.
Before your visit
Mention any temperature warning, coolant loss, sweet odor, or heater changes. If the engine overheats, stop safely and switch it off; never open a hot cooling-system cap.
Manage engine temperature and coolant condition
The cooling system moves heat away from the engine through coolant, the radiator, and related components. A thermostat controls flow, fans assist airflow, and hoses and seals keep the system closed. Overheating may involve low coolant, a leak, poor circulation, or an airflow concern. A coolant change alone will not correct every temperature problem.
When to arrange an inspection
- A rising temperature gauge or temperature warning
- Repeated coolant loss or a sweet smell
- Cabin heat that changes unexpectedly
Act early on temperature concerns
Report whether overheating happens at idle, on the highway, or under load. Tell us if coolant has been added and which product was used. Different coolants are not interchangeable simply because their colors look alike. Use the manufacturer’s specification. If the engine overheats, stop safely, switch it off, and allow it to cool; never open a hot pressurized cooling-system cap.
