Care for your vehicle
The radiator and water pump help move heat away from the engine. We offer radiator and water pump service within our cooling-system work.
A leak near the front of the engine or rising temperature can have more than one cause. Hoses, connections, airflow, and other cooling components can produce similar symptoms.
Before your visit
Describe any coolant puddle, recurring low coolant level, or temperature change. Allow the engine to cool fully and avoid opening a hot pressurized system.
Support coolant flow and heat transfer
The radiator releases heat from coolant, while the water pump circulates it through the engine and cooling system. Leaks, restricted flow, or pump problems can affect temperature control. These parts work with the thermostat, fans, belts, hoses, and other components, so an overheating symptom should be evaluated as a system concern.
When to arrange an inspection
- Coolant collecting under the vehicle
- Temperature rising in traffic or under load
- Noise or leakage near cooling-system components
Match the repair to the vehicle design
Water pumps may be belt-driven or electric, and access varies considerably between vehicles. Related belt-service requirements depend on the engine design. Ask what the findings show, which components are involved, and what coolant specification is required after repair. Never remove a cooling-system cap while hot. If overheating occurs, stop safely and arrange assistance.
