Care for your vehicle
Shocks and struts help control body movement as your vehicle travels over uneven pavement. We offer shocks and struts service.
Excessive bouncing, fluid leakage from a damper, or a change in ride control can warrant inspection. Tire and other suspension issues can produce similar complaints.
Before your visit
Tell us whether the vehicle continues bouncing after bumps, feels unstable, or has developed unusual tire wear. Ask about the condition of related suspension components during the visit.
Control bouncing and body movement
Shocks and struts damp suspension movement after bumps and during changes in speed or direction. Struts also form a structural part of many suspension designs. Worn damping can develop gradually, so the driver may notice an unsettled ride, repeated bouncing, or irregular tire wear rather than one sudden failure.
When to arrange an inspection
- Repeated bouncing after a bump
- Excessive body movement or an unsettled ride
- Visible leakage or unusual tire-wear patterns
Evaluate the full assembly
Mounts, springs, boots, and related hardware can affect noise and performance. A visual fluid trace alone does not tell the whole story; condition and operation matter. Discuss whether replacement in axle pairs is appropriate for balanced damping, and whether the repair affects alignment. Tell us about changes in ride height or noise while turning as well as the ride itself.
